#34 Spy Wednesday

The group discusses Wednesday of Passion Week. Some may know it as Great Holy Wednesday. We decided on Spy Wednesday what is believed to be the day Judas betrayed Jesus.
Questions for discussion:
1. Are there other names used for Holy Wednesday? If so, what are they?
2. In John’s Gospel early in chapter 13 shows that Judas was being influenced by the devil. Later in in that chapter it says Satan entered him. Is there a distinction between the two different names? If there is, what is the difference?
3. In Matthew 27 it says Judas has remorse for what he has done. He also confesses that he has sinned against innocent blood. What are the implications for his remorse and confession?
